Phase III SBIRs/STTRs
Over the past 25 years, CRG has successfully executed hundreds of Phase I and Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding agreements for our DoD customers including Air Force, Army, DARPA, DHA, DTRA, MDA, Navy, and SOCOM in addition to other government agencies such as DHS, DOE, NASA, NIH, and NSF.
A key feature of the SBIR/STTR program is that any Federal agency may issue CRG a Phase III contract for work that derives from, extends or completes an effort made under one of CRG’s prior SBIR/STTR funding agreements. In addition, the SBIR/STTR program permits sole-source Phase III awards since competition requirements were satisfied under CRG’s prior Phase I or II award.
IDIQs
CRG is a prime contractor on multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles for rapid response supporting our U.S. government and defense customers. These contract vehicles can also be leveraged for Phase III follow-on activities that derive from, extend, or complete one of CRG’s many prior Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding agreements.
Consortia and OTAs
CRG is a member of most major DoD consortia to facilitate fast, flexible Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) with federal agencies. CRG is considered a non-traditional defense contractor and routinely teams with other small businesses and traditional defense contractors to pursue OTAs for research and development, prototyping, and follow-on production.
