Cornerstone Research Group (CRG) is proud to announce that its groundbreaking Bellbird High-Fidelity Drone Audio System has been featured in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate’s “S&T 2024 Year in Review.” This recognition highlights the Bellbird system’s transformative potential in public safety and emergency response operations.
Developed to enhance crowd management and communication in high-risk environments, Bellbird is an advanced unmanned aircraft system (UAS) equipped with capabilities for broadcasting clear, loud voice commands and engaging in real-time, two-way communication. The technology was successfully demonstrated during a DHS Operational Field Assessment (OFA) at Mississippi State University’s Raspet Flight Research Laboratory, where first responders from across the country tested its ability to perform in real-world scenarios.
Bellbird’s inclusion in the DHS S&T annual publication reflects its potential to revolutionize how law enforcement, emergency personnel, and other agencies respond to crises, from crowd control at large-scale events to communication in disaster zones. CRG remains dedicated to refining the technology and ensuring its adaptability across various applications.
